I have a cluster of 3300 running MCD 5.0 and a ESNA vm for all. All of the public connections-PRI- and the vm are at site A. Calls are typically routed to the AA on the VM for the caller to make a selection. When the selection is made the call routes to the destination but the call rerouting options do not work and the call is disconnected after 5 rings. This only occurs for the remote 3300's. Any ideas??

Update, this appears to be only with hunt groups as the destination.

What method of connection to the ESNA, SIP trunks or something else? Can you clarify that the call gets transferred and the hunt group rings but on reroute ( back to the ESNA I assume ) the call gets dropped after 5 rings? Any problem dialling the hunt group from a phone? Does it reroute on no answer in the proper fashion?

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

I was able to resolve this and sorry for the delayed response, I've been out of touch for a while. Back trak- the public connection was via Mitel 2k with a DPNSS connection to the 3300- the COS CFNA timer for this link corrected the problem. The connection to the ESNA is SIP trunking and the HG did ring properly.
