Could someone tell me if it is possible to update a system speed call number via a script using ops manager?

We have 1 system speed call that we use for who ever is on call for the week and the only way to update that number is to manually log on to the system and update it from the webpage.

What I am wanting to do is have a script created that I can manually run from a command prompt on the server that OPS manager is running on that would update the phone number of the specified system speed call.

Is this even possible or does anyone here have an alternate or better suggestion how this can be done? I considered using telnet to do this however from what what I have read it does not appear this is a good idea that and I wouldn't know how to do it anyway but I am open to suggestions from people.

Thank you
KJ

Ok for all of you who were wondering how I wound up completing this it was due much in thanks to northportphoneguy.

First off I we have 3 users that split on call so I created 3 system speed calls.
651 - cell 1
652 - cell 2
653 - cell 3
I then created 1 analog phone with extension 650

I then Configured Call Forward - Follow Me - Third Party to use **95 from within the Feature Access Code Assignment

Then in the Class of Service Options Assignment for the analog phone extension I set the Call Forward = Yes for Follow me.

This then allowed us to dial **95650651 to put cell 1 on call or **95650652 to put cell 2 on call etc.

The last step was to configured our helpdesk line rather than going to voicemail to instead go to extension 650.

So now what happens is if a user calls the helpdesk and no one is at there desk to answer after the x number of rings it forwards the call to 650. Which depending on what call forward has been setup calls the correct person on call.

Now this allows 2 different things to take place using an analog modem attached to a sever we can use batch files and AT commands to automatically place people on call based on date and time or the way I will be doing it is I have written a dotnet web application that sends the command to the modem thus allowing use to put a person on call from our intranet site.

I would like to thank everyone who offered their suggestions on how to get this working and for me this works out really well.

Thanks
KJ
