Hi,

I have set up a MLAA mailbox, but I cannot seem to get it to work.

The Message answers, but when I select an option "i.e. press 1" I get a response "That Ext is not valid, please try again".

I am new to setting up MLAA so I am not sure if I have missed something. Should I be telling the 3300 to use the MLAA? My current answer point is my VM Hunt group.

Anyone have any ideas?

Yes the MLAA needs to be associated with an extension in much the same way as any other mailbox.

I suspect you are simply getting the main AA and at that point dialing a 1 is looking for mailbox 1 (single digit mailbox)

Thanks for the quick response, maybe I am missing something.

I have created a new mailbox of type Menu Node. I have tried it with and without an extention number but no luck....

What am I missing?

I think I have it, I have set the "top" level to have single digit mailboxes of type "transfer" and it seems to be working.

Is there a way to supress the "transferring to" message that is played?

Not that I know of. Record a name in the mailbox and it will say that name.

Hi,
I typically go away from using MLAA unless only front ending the calls. Use ACD Path's with Interflow Dialing List. This gives better control of the calls. You can still have Dial by Extension or Name as one of your Dial List options.
