Does anyone know if there is a way to change how park slots are selected on a 3300? I get many installs of customers coming from either Nortel or Toshiba phone systems where parked calls always go to the same orbit/slot number unless used in which case it uses the next one available. I guess in other words the orbits are selected terminally rather than circularly. Nobody likes the 99 orbit slots, always changing every time a call is parked.

Either that or lower the number of slots to park calls on. For example, 01 - 09.

Probably wishful thinking but thought I would throw it out there.

No luck - The Mitel is designed to cycle thru.

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

with call park, remember you can press # to get the longest parked, instead of entering the slot number

or multiple group park keys might help (each with a different number)
eg to park a call, press an idle group park key
it will then start flashing on all phones which have a key/appearence for the group park (press it to pick up the call)

(you can park more than one call against a single group park key, but we don't do that
if you do this, pressing the button to retrieve a call, retrieves the longest parked
