Mitel 3300 CXII downgrade 1

We recently had an SSD failure in a CXII chasis (5.0). A new drive arrived from Mitel with the latest software release loaded on it. Is it possible to install that drive into an MX chasis, downgrade it to 5.0 and then install it in the CXII chasis?

MX Chassis do not support Sata Drives

You can load any version you like using the manual method during bootup. Just make sure to use the FixPartition flag to format the drive.
