Mitel 3300 CXi exchange 2007 UM setup

Does anyone know how to setup the 3300CXi with exchange 2007 UM. I can't find any doc's of how to setup this feature. Mitel say it can be done... But there is no documentation on the mitel site.

This integration is not publically supported yet. Wait for 7.1 UR2, there will be documentaiton included. You will need SIP Trunks to make this work (not Generic SIP Station licenses).

I revisied my notes, and I'm correct, but I don't see it in the release notes or in the download package. Let me ask around - it's suppose to be there.

Ok, I downloaded 7.1 UR2.
I will upgrade the system so the system is up to date.

We already have 2 sip trunk licenses, so that sould be ok.

I hope you van find some configuration info.

I got hold of some docs, but as with a lot of recent Mitel documentation it appears not to be right...spent this afternoon playing on site. Have got it partially working, calls route/reroute into Exchange carrying in diverted number Ok and i get the greeting perfectly and you think all ok.... but as soon as i get the "please leave a message after the tone" i get terrible "static" style noise....and no matter what i say the voicemails are silent !!! strange...any one tried this yet ???
i have an idea it is Exchange related but as with all things new, no one really knows a great deal about this...
I will mail you the Mitel doc i received and some screen "snap shots" of what i changed to get it to work....

The buzzing sound is a known problem with 53xx handsets. You need firmware 1.1.1.7 or later to fix it. Give that a tryl

The instructions for the MS Exchange 2007 integration are now posted on MOL.

Now we just have to work on instructions for configuring Exchange to work with Mitel....

I have everything working great, except for one thing.

When i use play on phone to an external number I get loud static.

Works fine to my desk phone extention.

These two errors pop up when i get the call.
