Hello Everyone...
We have a Mitel 3300 Switch
We have a third party product that runs SIP phones that register to a third party software SIP server called Brekeke... I have setup the brekeke to route calls to the Mitel but I dont know how to setup the Mitel to allow those incomind calls.

Any help would be appreciated.

I do not see them on the certified SIP interop list. Are you on MCD4.0?

I have setup a few sip trunks to unsupported pbx's or gateways.

I can only tell you the mitel side programming

To start go to network element assignment and add an entry for the device along with its ip address. the device type will probably be other. set the sip peer transport to udp and the port to 5060 everything else could probably be left blank and then at the bottom set the sip peer status to auto detect.

Next you need to the SIP peer profile and create a new entry here. this for will define a name for this profile, then select the network element that you just created. You will need to set the max number of sip calls to the number of sip trunk licenses you have availible. then define the trunk service number (just pick an open one b/c you need to program this form next). Check the Trunk service assignment form for an open TS #.

Once you found the trunk service # that you are using, click change and inside this box you need to set your class of service and then how many digits you want the system to absorb when the brekeke sends calls to it. This option is generally 0.

This worked for connecting our 3com VCX telephone system to our mitel system so hopefully it will help for you.
