MITEL 3300 & IPPHONES 5330

I recently got the next issue on a single extension:

When dialing to a 5330 ip phone from another extension I get "Access Denied", yet outgoing calls can be made from the 5330. COS and COR are the same as the rest of the phones no programmed keys or behaviors on the phone.

The only solution I could come with was:

Disconnect the phone from LAN
Delete phone and extension from device table
Add phone and extension to device table (along with Keys, pickup groups, etc)
Reconnect the phone to LAN

Service was recovered.

Does anybody know why does this issue happen and how to solve it without deleting the device from PBX?

Thank you

Next time check what features might be enabled (such as Call Forwarding)

Maintenance Command - Locate Feature Ext XXXX

Occam's Razor - All things being equal, the simplest solution is the right one.

As kwbMitel suggests its most likely the phone was forwarded somewhere that access was restricted to. Something like a cell phone perhaps.

There may be no i in team but there are three f's in fudge off.

kwbMitel,
Thank you for your reply. Very helpful hint (notice I'm novice).

LoopyLou,
I thought of that yet I didn't know how to review the current features as kwbMitel suggested.

Thanks both for the help
