Hi all ,

I'm currently trying to solve an issue with a new mitel 3000 system here.Ever so often the callers get no speech path on extension to extension calls.I have absolutely no clue what may be causing this issue.Has anyone seen/or solved this type of issue before on the mitel 3000 system?

please help

I've installed hundreds of 3000's (BT Versatility) Since 2003 and I've never come across that problem at all, are you running firmware .922? Are the extns on the main unit or is it occuring on a ports module? Best to get the end user to document what extns it is happening between to isolate it. The only thing I can think of is it could possibly be the expansion backplane not being fully inserted or a ports module not securely installed onto the backplane- there may be a few contacts not being made. Best of luck!

Hi,

I'm never experienced a Mitel 3000 before but have recently implemented a Mitel MXe 3300 for the company where I work. I had a similar problem with one way voice which turned out to be the phones having defferent default gateway IP addresses.

Not sure if its relevant on your system but thought its worth a mention.
