We have an Option 11 C from Nortel that was installed in 2001. We never changed the Miran card recording nor wanted too until now. Currently, we are stuck at appying the right access codes to gain access to the Miran card. Please help!!!

There are three types of Miran card. Version 1,2 and 3. We don't normally give out passwords, but they don't usually ever get changed from default. Miran 1 and 2 could be accessed via the LSL link if the card was in the main cabinet. Otherwise it was a case of hooking up a serial port cable at 9600 etc.

Miran 2 and 3 could also be accessible via the LAN. What version do you have?

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

You have to access the TUI to record, that's the only way unless you import wave files.

Firebirdscrambler: We are accessing the Miran card my the digital telephone line. The Miran part number is NTAG36AC.

It sounds as if you have either the Miran 1 or 2 version. I have a good PDF file on how to administer the Miran card is you need it. Just follow my link below.

When we dial the access code for the trunk unit 7 ((TRK)(DID LDR DDL)), we received a busy signal. Below is the trunk and route information.

On your Rt 15, change the TARG value to = 0

Your FRL values do not look right either.

To access the Miran you would then dial 7015 from an extension.

Actually you can dial the ACOD for a RAN Rt.... thats how I get my users to verify the announcements.

My money is on TARG / TGAR values.

For the MIRAN TUI DID Trunk (TN 3 7), try changing STRI/STRO from DDL to IMM. Per MIRAN manual,"Do not program MUS or DID trunks as Delayed Dial (DDL)."
