So I followed the miran 3 install on PBX book. However when I go to the direct access DN I hear nothing, same with if I go to the route

Whats odd Is if I go into the web GUI for the MIRAN it doesnt show the MOH as active. But I see no way to set it to active

I see that the Miran 3 card is placed in slot 1. When looking with the Web page administration tool, can you see the keycodes?.

I recall the Miran card being in 3 configuration packages starting off with the small 2 ports then medium 4 ports and finally large at 8 ports.

I thought the Option 11c systems needed the broadcast ISM keycode?

I'll try and find my old notes

I had configured this previously for rosesam and it worked but I forgot to backup and after a power cycle, that data was lost and then rosesam tried to re program it while I was busy and it hadn’t seemed to be working. Ill take a look later and update y’all here.

Ok to my credit I got it almost working XD

Just sorting out some minor issues

So far its just
1. Miran doesnt do MOH <- this thread
2. When calling into my trunk set doesnt ring <- trying to sort this out over discord

You can also try uploading your own music file.

All you need to do is
Basics
1) Throw any audio file into audacity (like an mp3 or wav)
Sample rate
2) The dropdown at the bottom left corner needs to be set to 8000
Export
3) Click File, Export, Export audio, set the file type to other uncompressed, the lower drop down needs to be set to SUN/AU and then save the file.
Moving to the MIRAN
4) There are a few ways to do this, FTP, PCMCIA, or moving it onto the compact flash. I prefer the moving to CF method. Before you move it, click on the file, then click again to change its name, if checked in the view tab of windows/file explorer you should be able to see the .au extension on the file, you want to remove the .au and then put .ulw in there. Once it’s moved over just make a calendar assignment on channel 0 with the descriptor set to always.

It might have 8 ports, but the keycodes might not have enabled all of them.

The attached file might be of some help.

Awesome thanks! I'll give it a shot

Solved, it was a bad FTP xfer that caused the files on the MIRAN to not have any actual music data...
