Hi,

I am planning a migration from our Exchange 5.5 server which is running on 2000 Advanced Server to Exchange Server 2000. I am in need of some good techie help though.

My server layout;

NT4.0 Server - PDC File/Print/WINS
NT4.0 Server - PDC File/Print/WINS
(Don't ask why 2 PDC's, inherited system)
Windows 2k member server - Exchange Server 5.5
Windows 2k member server - File and print server/DNS

My plan would be to upgrade to Exchange 2000 and test and make sure it works properly, before moving to upgrade the servers to Windows 2000 Server.

Would you agree?

Any comments/help would be greatly appreciated.

Steve

no can do. you have to upgrade to W2K domain first...

oh, and there can't be 2 PDC's....one is probably a BDC...

Double post, see thread858-474481 If the answer is here, mark it, others can benefit from it too.

Hi,

I did put the post in the exchange 2k and the exchange 5.5 as wasn't sure if which one to put it into!

There were two seperate domains....Sorry, not explained very well.

That's ok, just follow the other thread, abandon this one since you go the 2000 route. If the answer is here, mark it, others can benefit from it too.
