I have a MICS that I thought I had a bad line card and have since replaced ls/ds card. Has anyone heard of the 2nd slot going bad like this in a mics. I can access lines 31 & 32 call out on them fine, but it will not detect a call coming in. Lines are set to ring on station, but not appear, lines 1-4 do ok but not the next 4, swapped cards and prob stays with the location. anything i could be missing in prog??

Yes did that, all lines ringing my butt set fine.

No, I have 6 lines. No matther which line I punch onto 31-34 I get no ringing, I can access them and call out but you dont even hear the slight click of the relays when you are calling in on those lines, you hear that clicking on lines 1-4.

If you've proved it's not telco related and you've swapped line cards, you've verified that the lines in question are programmed to ring on the station, then its software or the KSU. Check for bent pins in the edge connector.

Are you sure the line numbers are correct? What software version? Is DISA accidentally set for those lines? Do you hear ring back from the telco or dead air?

The one thing I did not do is try to access the line while it is ringing, even though it does not ring on set I should be able to answer it by accessing it. I am not at site now, I will try this later today. Not sure of software vers. I will be back with more info. Thanks much all for the troubleshooting angles!!

Make sure that card slot isn't disabled. You said your not hearing that clicking sound when accessing your trunks. That is a good sign of that slot being disabled.
