A certain extension(x202) in the system intermitently - yet quite often - gets calls from other extensions on internal calls. This has been going on since I replaced the system last July. x262 just called x256 and within four rings was connected to x202.

This is not an FNA or Answer DN issue. I have checked and rechecked the 'logical' programming that could make this happen. Not to mention it happens with random extensions calling but when it happens x202 is always the one who receives the calls.

I have swapped phones, ports, rebooted KSU and Call-Pilot numerous times.

Is this a software corruption issue? Any ideas?

You can see the DN appearances in the line programming of the BCM not Norstar.
Sounds like corrupt S/W. Do a renistall to clear all Data.

Thank you cook1082, its nice to know they finally did something to address that, even if its only in the BCM

Yeah, it is a hassle having to check line appearances one extension at a time.

Ouch on the reinstall. Ninety phones with PRI.

What do they say - It is what it is!

Don't reinstall, obviously x202 is in the system as the prime set for everything.

Normally it is x221, but when you put the system in you set it for x301, which would have made x301 the prime set for everything.

You can set it to another set or just take it all together, you will have to do it per line and per extension.

Isnt prime set just under Line programming? Where do I find it for Terminals and Sets?

Try:
- turning off portable DN's
- Put an M7100 on the trouble port
- let it boot up fully
- take off the M7100
- put back original phone and reinstate the set programming
- leave portable DN's OFF
- repeat on all trouble ports
- watch and shoot

Just a guess, but could it x202 be a control set for something?

Wayne

Original was x301 - I had changed to x202.

I also turned off DRT to prime under system programming.

Don't forget - this happens on internal and external calls from the AA. Ughh!
