Am I correct that CID is available on all sets prior to actually answering a line on MICS 6.1 and above and not below?

Yes to MICS R6.1 and higher. CID available on all versions of CICS.

Caller-ID was only available on a one-set per line. Meaning the CLID would show on the display prior to answer only on one set. Once the line is answered, any phone that has answered that line will get CLID. Once 6.1 came out, you can set CLID on any phone that has the line either Appear&Ring or Ring Only. This is done in set programming>telco features.

Oh I forgot what version will the MWI light work on a CICS Compact as well.

Yes R6.1 will turn on the MW lite. Same version on CICS to turn on the lite.
