I had asked a similar question before. Yes, 6.0 has multiple issues with PRI. I have tried to get people to list those. It would be good for someone like lugerlover to write a FAQ on the 6.0 issue. You need to upgrade to at least the most recent MR of 6.0. I would go ahead and go to 7.1 if it was me.

6.0 had multiple issues (ITAS SRN - 024 NA)
The first 2 couple of RLS of 6.1 also had some issues so recommendation is to either go to 7.1 or at least the last RLS of 6.1

I recommend 7.1. Even with 6.1MR, I've had issues with certain CO switches for PRI.

a note to keep in mind is that on 6. software there is a problem with initializing PRI if you are connecting to a nortel DMS switch.
