Hi

I have a customer that use a MICS 5.0 with CI co cards. There is a receptionnist that answer all the calls (ring only on that station). All the sets have line appearance and don't ring except of the receptionnist. The caller ID work very well but when I setup Call log and tell all the station to log all calls I get every single call that come in the system even if it don't ring on the sets that use the call log. Is it a problem with version 5.0 or a programming issue. I found out that if I remove line appearance on the sets I only get log for calls transfer to that particular set. Any ideas?

Thanks

I believe all Cics and Mics have to have line appearence to capture CLID info of that line, if not when you part out the system between companies you would get there calls info and not to mention DIDs or private lines.

The lines appears on sets but they don't ring. The only extension that has ringing is the reception. It's very hard to explain

That's what log ALL calls means.

Press Feature *84 to choose another option.

At each phone do a feature * 84 log options and set it for unanswered by me. See if that works. Not log all calls.
