MICS 4.1 will not recognize 12X0 Trunk Module

I have a 0x32 MICS 4.1 with 6 port fiber plugged into slot 2- then I have 2 ls/ds cards in the main cabinet, I also have 2 station modules plugged into ports 3 and 4, then I have a 12X0 plugged into mod 8 on the fiber card, i have disabled, reenabled, replaced all hardware-ie. 6 port, 12X0, LS>DS, Fiber Cable but everytime you go into port/dn status and enter 0801 it states that it is extension #397 and it thinks 0801-0816 is a station module. there use to be a procedure years ago to get these to fire up does anyone remember what that is.

Disable port 8 in "Maintenance", go to "Hardware" and change port 8 to a trunk module, go back to "Maintenance" and enable port 8. You may have to give it a minute or two to reconfigure.
