MICS 3.0 to 7

I know I can't go directly from 3.0 to 7.

Does anyone have a simple explantion of the upgrade path to do this? With the understanding that 3.0 is a one piece cartridge and 4.1 and above is a 2 piece.

unless it is a really complicated setup which is too difficult to reprogram - i'd recommend a complete reprogram

+ upgrade all applications before upgrading the system

the procedure is detailed in the installer guide - highlights

3.x to 4.x - requires upgrade tool and 4.x sw
4.x to 6.1 - plug and play requires 6.1 sw
6.1 to 7.0 - plug and play requires 7.0

thats why it is 'better' to do a new CLEAN install.
