MICS 2 PRI

I HAVE AN OLDER MICS RUNNING 4.1 I BELIEVE. WE ARE TRYING TO ADD A SECOND PRI TO THE SYSTEM BUT THE CARD JUST FLASHES LIKE IT IS NOT SYNCING I SWAPPED THE CARDS THINKING ONE MIGHT HAVE BEEN BAD..BUT IT WORKS. I HAVE ALREADY TURNED UP THE SERVICE SO I KNOW IT IS NOT A CROSS CONNECT OR PROVIDER ISSUE. ANY IDEAS?

Did you go into Hardware and define it as a PRI card?

YEP. IT SEES BOTH CARDS UNDER HARDWARE BOTHE ARE SET FOR PRI AND I VERIFIED THE FRAMING WITH THE PROVIDER.

IS IT POSSIBLE THAT 4.1 DOES NOT SUPPORT MULTIPLE PRI

No, it will support multiple PRI. Plug a patch cord into the card with a loopback plug. See if the card will go green on itself.

TRIED IT. IT WILL NOT IF BOTH T1 CARDS ARE INSTALLED. BUT IT WILL COME UP IN EITHER SLOT IF ONLY ONE CARD IS INSTALLED...I THOUGHT IT WAS WEIRD TOO

One last obvious question but I have to ask: Have you gone into Maintenance and verified that card slot is enabled?

the second card should also be secondary cloking
