micros 3700 -Epson T88V and cash drawer on OPOS driver -Still trying 1

All,
Still trying to figure out for last three weeks to get this T88V and cash drawer working on OPOS driver for micros 3700 5.4.
So far here is the progress:
The printer is on COM2.
The drawer is on back of printer connected to DK port.
POS configurator configuration.
1. The printer is set as OPOS receipt printer with device name TM-T88V (default from OPOS). Did not create LDN name.
2. The drawer is set as: Cash Drawer 1, OPOS as connection Type. device name Multi_A (default name from OPOS)Did not create LDN name.
With above setup the, Click on No Sale and the drawer kicks open just fine but the printer will not work.
If I change the device name for the drawer to TM-T88V in Step 2 above, then the printer works fine but the drawer will not open.
So it is either drawer or the printer.
How do I get them both working?

"HydraCashDrawer1" <---case sensitive
4) DO NOT use OPOS printer in MICROS, set it up as a regular old
Micros TM88 w/serial Interface
5) Add cash drawer in WS > Peripherals, with opos name
"HydraCashDrawer1" <--- case sensitive
6) There is a reg entry that MUST be made for this to work....
(Needs to be done on each workstation)
KEY NAME
=[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROS\Common\Periphs
Dll]
Add DWORD = "HydraCashDrawer"
With Value of 1
7) Reboot and try it out.

Can you please explain more on step # 3 as when I configure the drawer in OPOS which option should I use 1. Standard, Multi_A with serial port A or Multi_B with serial port 2?

One more question on step # 4. Are you saying to use windows Epson printer driver on COM1 ad setup the Epson T88 as RS232 in POS configurator?

Just FYI; Running Windows 7 Pro -64bit.
Below is my configuration and drawer still does not open. The printer works fine. The drawer opens in OPOS health check but throws an error after I click on Close.
in RES, click on Func Screen, No Sale says "No cash Drawer Assigned" Checked that and the Cash Drawer 1 is assigned in POS configurator.
OPOS setup:
1. POSPrinter setup as TM-T88V
2. CashDrawer setup as Standard, LDN=HydraCashDrawer1

POS Configurator:
1. Devices\Printer Definition =RS232 Interface, printer is Epson TM-T88 Thermal Printer
2. Printer Interface = COM 1
3. User Workstation/ Peripherals/Cash Drawer 1 =OPOS
4 OPOS Configuration =HydraCashDrawer1
5. All OPOS Options are unchecked.

REGISTRY:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\MICROS\Common\PeriphsDll| DWORD = HydraCashDrawer = 1

Where am I going wrong?

Glad you figured it out, been a few years since I played with that config and I remember it was fussy. Sorry I'm not in here very often to answer questions. I found one other reg key dword to add, per some older instructions, not sure if it's necessary but here it is:

HKLM\Software\Micros\Common\PrintController\PbmIdleTimeout
Value=5

Yes, thanks to you. It is working OK. Now just need to speed the printer little as the cash drawer kicks open first and the printer starts printing after few seconds, little slower.
