Micros 3700 BUG Found in Autoseq Reports ANY RES Version Lower 5.7.5 Date Range Stops on 12/31/2020 24

Dear all

In ANY Versions 3.2 up to 5.7

Some of you might already come across an issue with the RES Calendar End on 31.12.2020.
In any version lower than RES 5.7.5 the calendar in the system will end at 31.12.2020, starting from that date calendar will not be available so the customers will not be able to work.

Issue: RES Calendar End on 31.12.2020 -- Solution: Upgrade to RES 5.7.5.
there will be no Patch for any other version.


Pos Configurator same issue
Menu Item Prices > Date 2021+ Working
Schedule Classes Specific Date > Date not Working
Employee Stop Working > Different Calender Integrated Working

isn't 5.6.x still deadlocked? I've heard that you can't upgrade to another main release from 5.6.x, but I'm also not 100% sure that's correct.

Does anyone have a RES 3700 Sim Script that flashes the receipt total and what the change should be on a big splash screen for like 5 seconds after each cash transaction before it takes you back to the login screen?

A sim script is not going to be able to do what you are looking for, but should be easily achievable with a little .net application.

I need the patch file for 5.4.1

Also need a suggestion. I have installed upto 5.4 MR2. But in POS Configurator--> About, shows 5.4.0203... like this.
Should I update upto 5.4 MR6 or just install the patch?

I can download files from oracle edelivery but cannot seem to find the 5.4 MR3,MR4,MR5 and MR6 files.
Are they named differently? Could you help me to get them?

You can only get the Major versions of the software from EDelivery. All maintenance releases and hotfixes are available on the support.oracle.com portal, but you dont get access to that unless you have a paid support contract with Oracle.
