Hitting the defined MEW key on a phone brings up #5# #11# on the display. It is a DBC222 type phone. I checked the itype, fcn key, aok. I also swapped the phone, changed the itype, same thing. Also, I ended the extension and initiated once more, still the same behaviour. I'm out of ideas at the moment.

Does anyone know what this means? How do I change the MEW key action to dial the voice mail box, as it did before?

Thanks for any help on this,

Regards,
Mark

You need to send this command:

ICMWC:SID=5,DIG=groupnumber for voicemail system, KFCN=MWC,DTXT=groupnumber for voicemail system;

ICMWC:SID= [ ,DTXT= ] [ ,KFCN= ] [ ,DIG= ] ;

What voice mail system do you use?

Thanks Doktor, that was just what I needed, nice one. Everything's back to normal and we're all happy again! Thanks again,

Regards,

Mark.

Just to gove you an example:

This command ICMWC allows you have several voicemail systems, like 1-2-3, with different group numbers:

ICMWC:SID=5,DIG=groupnumber for voicemail system1, KFCN=MWC,DTXT=groupnumber for voicemail system1;

ICMWC:SID=6,DIG=groupnumber for voicemail system2, KFCN=MWC,DTXT=groupnumber for voicemail system2;

ICMWC:SID=7,DIG=groupnumber for voicemail system3, KFCN=MWC,DTXT=groupnumber for voicemail system3;
