Message waiting lights not working (Option 11 with CLASS licenses)

I have an Option 11 running RELEASE 5 (PBX-a) and all but one of my analog phones (52 phones) have no message waiting lights. The one phone that is working is using the one ANALOG license in the system and the rest are using the CLASS licenses in the system. The actual phones are Aastra 8009 phones.

I have another Option 11 (PBX-b) running the same release and with this same CLASS license setup and the analog message waiting lights work fine there. The difference is that on the Option 11 where the lights work the phones are not using CLASS licenses but instead in the ANALOG OVERFLOW.

If I try to set CLS CNAD and CNUD on the analog phones on PBX-a I get error SCH1871 (no analog licenses available). I did not do the initial setup of these systems so I don't know how the licenses on PBX-b went to ANALOG OVERFLOW.

This all started when PBX-a went down and upon reboot all the analog phones were gone and I had to re-program them all. I have tried a new power supply and a new analog card and neither of these fixed the issue. The lights worked before the crash but not after I re-programmed all the phones.

Here is the SLT on PBX-a:

Does anyone know how to get the phones to use the ANALOG OVERFLOW licenses instead of CLASS licenses? I think this would solve my problem, but any other insights would be appreciated as well. Thanks all!

I really don't think it is a Class Licensing issue, that should have no affect. If you change from LPA to LPD do you get studder dial tone on the analog phone when there is a message left?

Another thing too. It seems really strange that all the programming you lost was analog phones. Is there more to the story?

I just tried setting one of the TNs to CLS LPD and then left a new voice mail message in the mailbox. When you pick up the handset you get a sort-of a stutter dial tone (it is slower than I would anticipate for stutter tone) but then it never transitions to a regular dial tone. If is set it back to LPA it has a normal dial tone and no message light.

Also this system is throwing a lot of ERR9023 x x x x (where x x x x is the TN of an analog phone). The text for this error is:
ERR9023
Incorrect database configuration encountered. CNUS class of service
conflicts with CNAA class of service.
Correct the database configuration in LD10.
Severity: Minor

Thanks!!

Also, the message waiting lights work normally for digital sets.

So what caused you to lose all the programming? Also what kind of Line Card are you using?

provide an idc of card 6 and 9 or can you confirm these are NT8D09 analog message waiting line card?

KCFLHRC, we had a power outage and when the system came back up the analog phones just simply weren't there. When I tried to prt one I would just get NO ACT SINCE NO DATE. I rebooted the system a couple times to see if they would reload, but no luck. I don't really know what happened. Sadly I didn't have a better backup so I had to rebuild the phones (we used OTM to push the programming back to the PBX).

yyrkroon, here is the idc of 6, 9, 7 and 8:

No response from the Network Card. Retry the command several times.
If the problem persists, check the Network Card and associated
cabling.
Severity: Minor

Either somone applied new keycodes and reboot which removed your analog license without you knowing about it or something really F'ed up happened. Class license doesn't provide MWI. I would double check your current keycodes against the KRS.

yyrkroon,
I believe the license prt from before the crash would have looked something like this:
ANALOGUE TELEPHONES 1 LEFT 0 USED 1 OVERFLOW 45
CLASS TELEPHONES 64 LEFT 18 USED 46
I don't think anyone applied new keycodes.
