can the operator have its own personal voicemail box aswell as the general mailbox? I have a operator ext 100 with a mailbox assigned to it i have it into cover group 30. When night service is turned on outside callers dial 100 and just rings open

Check the night menu and see where the 0-out is being sent. It can have different day/night destinations. There can also be a seperate general mailbox (9991 for AA 1), but this does not sound like what is happening as it would go direct to that mailbox when caller's hit 0 and I don't believe you can delete 9991.

Yes that is working correctly when outside callers dial "0" off the night attendant it routes to 9991 but when outside callers dial 100 to leave the operator a personal message vm never answers it just rings open

is your operator a QCC or DLC console
QCC won't cover to voicemail
