Maybe I dont understand your question properly? There is no way to alter the "maximum number of rows for an Access database". Check out "Microsoft Access Specifications" in the online help. This will generally tell you that a database (mdb file) can be up to 2GB, can contain up to 32,000 objects + provides some other limitations. Providing you stay within the 2GB limit, there is no limitation of the number of number of rows associated with a table.
Check out the topic "Microsoft Access database table specifications" which contains info on limitations relating to number of fields in a table etc.
Again, providing you stay within these parameters, the number of rows in a table is unlimited (except of course in a practical sense by available disk space, performance considerations etc.)
Hope this helps,

Don - there is no registry setting to alter , decrease, or increase the number of rows in an Access table. THERE ARE, however, some settings for ODBC Refresh, max Number of rows to retrieve for a combo box, etc.
