Hi, I just started creating a database to be used to log contractors that will be assigned to a contract.

So one contract, ie Wall Mart want security, so we assign 20 security guards to them on one site..

How would i go about doing this in access, so when i click on the particular contract, it shows me all 20 security personal attached to this job.

Any help most appreciated.

Many Thanks

I would expect to see a junction table between tblContract and tblContractors. You would then use a subform based on the junction table embedded on a main form based on tblContract.

Hi, Not sure what a junction table is, can you suggest where i can read up on this, or maybe get a sample database to interogate.

Many Thanks

Rather than attempting to describe it is best if you search the web.

If you consider Orders and Products tables, the OrderDetails table would be the junction table. It would store foreign keys to Orders and Products.
