I have some spyware on my computer, its totally messed up and I have no idea how to fix it.

Windows defender says everything is ok. Ad-aware picks up tracking cookies and *****, but as soon as I've deleted them, they seem to get reinstalled. I can't see any strange processes running.

I am now getting ads popping up regularly. Also internet explorer crashes all the time and when it does, the windows explorer bar hangs then rearranges itself. Also, I cant use IE icon in shortcut bar to open it and several applications get "the application failed to initialize", so I need to restart to use them.

Its v annoying. Anyone know how to fix?

I would start with running Ad-Aware and Spybot in safe mode. Also, I would lock down any IM programs you are running.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will try it.

Already tried ad-aware and spybot. Both picked up the tracking cookies and got rid of them, but they just reinstalled themselves. Its taken over google now, whenever I click on search results, browser gets redirected to random ad sites.

Bit more info: The spyware has created some random directories on my root folder:

Thanks, hopefully this will help:

I'd boot into Safe Mode afterwards and run Ewido (assuming you've already installed and updated it), rid yourself of anything it flags and reboot into Windows once more.

Post a new HijackThis logfile.

You have delf, the above won't get rid of it!

spysweeper.

Before you proceed with the removal directions below you need to turn off SpySweeper's realtime protection as it will interfere with the changes we are trying to make.

Open Spysweeper and click on Options > Program Options.
Uncheck "load at windows startup".
On the left click "shields" and then uncheck everything there.
Uncheck "home page shield".
Uncheck "automatically restore default without notification".
Exit the program.
Leave it disabled until we are finished here.

Thanks for the help you guys.

Close all windows, open the win32delfkil folder and double click on fix.bat.
This just went into a loop saying:

"Killing PID 386 'smss.exe'"

This processes appears to be running. Is it safe?

I ran ewido scan in safe mode and deleted the dlls. My system appears to be ok (for now). Ad-aware, spybot and ewido don't pick up any problems.

Here's the new log:
