Main line not ringing

Hello all! I am working with a remote site which has an S8100. It is a G3 v11. The users at this site say that they used to have the main line ring on all their phones, but it no longer does. It was not a bridged appearance to their sets. I am not familiar with this feature, although I have seen this problem come through our doors before with another site...I didn't have the privilege at the time of troubleshooting the issue. Can someone tell me how this would be set up, and why it might randomly stop working?

They might be using a "A Terminating Extension Group (TEG) allows an incoming call to ring as many as
4 phones at one time. Any user in the group can answer the call."
But I would think your problem is with the incoming trunk group if they are not getting any calls. Unless they are getting calls but just not to the right place.

Check the main line for dial-tone by doing a status of the trunk-group the line is associated with. If the line is in a "disconnect" status it could mean one of two things; there is no-dial-tone to the trunk port or it has a tip & ring reversal.
 
The main line is a vdn extension (2900) going to vector 1, which points to station 3098 during business hours. 3098 has an x-port, but has 4 bridged appearances on the receptionist phone. There are about 30 stations at this site, and the users say the main line would ring on all of their phone sets, even though none of the other sets (besides the receptionist phone) are programmed with appearances of the main line.
