The strangest thing is happening on a few digital ports. Ports that had digital 24xx or 54xx sets on them are now showing M7310N sets. I assume must be a Nortel or Meridian model number. The extension profile has a drop down menu with a selection of sets with pictures of the sets.

We don't use these at all and never have. My 24xx and 54xx sets on these ports can place and receive calls but non of the buttons match the displays just show the letters a,b,c,d,e,f. I have rebooted a few times and we have not had any upgrades at all still running the same 9.0 for the last few years with voice mail pro.. I searched posts but there is no reference to this issue.

Does anyone have any idea what may be going on? Thank you

Are these ports on the main IPO unit on a digital station/combo card, or on expansion modules? If expansion module, which ones do you have? a couple of expansion modules have the ability to switch between Nortel (the old Norstar/BCM) & Avaya Digital Handsets.
There is also a 'combo card' like module called the TCM8 which is just designed for Norstar/Nortel/BCM M or T series handsets but it doesn't sound like you have this.
I've uploaded a pic of an expansion module (DS30B) just as an example of one that can have either Nortel or Avaya...

Thank you very much. I will be back there tonight and I will take a look and maes notes of the modules. We do have some of the 400 series DS modules a 30 port and some combo cards and also one of the units you show above. I now this for sure because the older modules were off white and the newer ones match the color of the unit above which is the same color at the 500v2 unit. I will reply later tonight when I find look at the equipment. This makes sense. Thank you very much!

No problems.
Take a note of the expansion module names and it’s easy enough to look up if they’re the ones that are compatible with the M & T Series Nortel phones. These were only made available on IPO500 modules so if it’s not the above, it could be something else. Take some pictures and especially note the the module number (7XXXXXXXX).
I only ask because there’s a setting in IPO where you select if you’re using Nortel phones or Avaya phones, and you can’t use both types on the one module.....maybe it was accidentally changed in Manager?

Thanks, I hope to get out there this weekend. This is only on a few ports so I just moved the users to other ports but I do want to fix the issue for the future of these ports.

Do you know how to save (export) a copy of the config (CFG) file? That might help too.

Thanks, Tim

Sorry for the delay, I was able to get it to show the correct sets after a few reboots. Thanks for all the help.
