Hello,
I have recently come into ownership of a Nortel MG1000 system. I primarily have knowledge of Cisco systems, so Nortel is new to me. I have a phone that, for some reason, won't recognize the handset. The phone itself and handset work fine as I have tested them on another line. I can make calls with the speaker just fine. If I restart the phone I can make one call via the handset, but then it won't work after that. I don't get a dial tone or anything when I pick up the handset.
Any tips are greatly appreciated.
