Not sure about R9 but R8 was easy as tipter says above you can use the 2010 client and it works quite happily.
The only part I have not yet worked out is getting the outlook presence to mine with the One-x presence but that is because its a hosted email system. I don't think they will let me run the One-X/exchange Power shell script on the hosted server
