I'm using a dialup connection on a P3 450 running XP Pro. I used to get the little connection symbol when I connected to the internet in the bottom right corner of the screen. That symbol is now gone. Does anyone know how to get it back. Makes it kind-of difficult to disconnect.
Thanks in advance.

Start>Settings>Control Planel>Network connections> Select the interface in question, Properties> check box in bottom left corner "Show icon in notification area when connected"

Unix IS user friendly... It's just selective about who its friends are.

Also, you could do a find references under the file pulldown. That should work

Sorry for just now getting back to this.
If I go there Start>Settings>Control Planel>Network connections> then I don't have anything listed and it seems to take quite a while before the window opens.
Thanks in advance.
