I saw a message from someone who was asking solution for his loop start problem, but he didn't get any reply because he didn't want to put some information about the route and trunks.

I have the same problem as he has. If I try to programm the cot trunk in LD 14 the meridian optoin 11 is giving me a sch0312 error.

Here you have the print out.

Can someone tel me were in the system I can tel the option 11 to use loop start instead of ground start.

I looked at all possible combinations because I have a system were I can programm loop start without any problems, but in this system it is not going.

Please help !!!!!!

Why did you program it as xcot, should only be cot. Try that, it should work for you then.

On my switch, which is equiped with CO trunk card NT5K18A I could use LGR signalling (Loop calling guarded release). But type of trunk signalling depends from software pakages too.

Thank you all for your comments.

1 I can't make the type cot, so this is not a solution it gives me the sch0311. (why I dodn't know)

2 LDR is given me the same sch code

3 LGR is not accepted too.

I know that some packages can affect these settings but. If I look at the other PABX both has Enhanced Networking software and both has the same packages. Then I don't understand why it has problem on one of the PABX's.

Thanks anyway for the responses.

What type of the CO card do you have? I meen NT number.

I think the type is not important, because I use the same card in an other option 11c an it works. The number that I am using is NTCK16AE.

Hi cengiz123,

Try using EXUT or XUT at the XTRK prompt. I don't think XCOT is valid for this prompt. That is what the SCH0312 is telling you. I don't have my manual available to verify at the moment, and SIGL = LOP is correct for loop-start. LDR is for one-way trunks like analogue DIDs.

Hope this helps!
