I am Looking for VFP Training Videos either that I can borrow or purchase at large discount. I have been in Foxpro since day one through all the versions except VFP.
I am extremely proficient in 2.6 both versions but have found VFP to be a real stumbling block, a MUCH bigger change than when Foxpro went from 1.02 to 2.0 to 2.5/6.
Here in Las Vegas, NV you cannot find any books on VFP at ANY bookstores (REALLY!).
And over the years the 29.95 books available otherwise are now 69.95 and higher and the videos are out of sight. I am a programmer who programs manly for myself and my hobbies and do NOT have a Corporate budget that can afford the high cost of VFP training so as to make millions.
If someone can help I would appreciate it very much. My current programs run just fine and do all I want but I can see some benefits could be gained in VFP, especially getting rid of the runtime erro produced in some high speed systems. I own VFP 6.0 version now (I at least p0urchased every release of Foxpro) but the manuals, as usual, leave a lot to be desired. Would be nice if someone had the sense at Microsoft to write manauls in a more user-friendly manner and provide more detailed non-high tech explanations.
For example, a simpler explainations on the 'Properties' one at a time with simpler terms of what each one is and whate it does and how to use it would help.
Yada Yada Yada.....
Thanks for your time.
