I am unable to log onto plane b. I can not type any commands because I am on plane a. Looking for info on how to force a switch at the cabinet. sx-2000

There is a reset -a on one side of the activity switch and reset b on the other side. Do I need to press either one .

Connect your terminal to a peripheral node and it will automatically follow the switch

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

Almost sounds like an activity freeze and reload B might be the thing to do. Yes connect to a per node to always bre on current
