Looking for device that will auto answer either an analogue or IP phone call and play audio from an input jack until the caller hangs up.

Thanks. This looks great except that it will only use the audio (tapeplayer) jack to make a recording. I'm looking to have live audio play ("stream") through the input jack, not just record. I should have specified that I wanted "live" or "streaming" audio from an external device. My bad.DVA-500A - Viking Electronics, Inc.

This should do the trick.
I like this idea. I'll give this a try.Using auto attendant to answer the call then transfer the call to a phone that is physically on the system but does not have a telephone connected does not have any ring out timers and is not call forwarded. While the call is being routed to the extension that is ringing the user will experience music on hold that music can be whatever the hell you want it to be. As long as it's set up like this it'll ring at that extension until Hell Freezes Over or the user hangs up. While it's ringing at that extension they will continuously hear whatever hold music you want them to hear
I have a radio receiver that I'd like to "stream" when a caller calls into a specific number.Jason, are you able to give an example (more detail) as to the setup/scenario?
I think of Chevy Chase in Modern Problems, when he calls into his home from a hotel to automatically feed the fish.
I just configured this and it works perfectly. Thank You!IP Office, set the incoming call route destination to *34 which is the short code for Music on Hold. The call will hit whatever you're streaming into the MOH port and remain connected (no timeout) until the caller disconnects.
Thank you. Yes, I have that part working, I just can’t figure out how to make the transfer happen automatically, similar to the line forward setting in IPO. It currently works fine when the call is answered and transferred manually.I suppose if you set Transfer Return Rings to zero (#105-0) and Ring on Transfer to Not Active (#119-2), you would be able to transfer to a physical extension number (doesn't have to have a phone connected) and you would hear the MOH until you disconnected.
