Hi there,

Is there a way to create a shortcode or any other method to log off users using VMPro?

I can change various other options using a generic action like put them on DND...

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Craig

Craig,

You can program a button for extn logout and have a shortcode login such as *45*N# for code and N for telephone number. an example would be *45*1234*2222: the *2222 being the access code under telephony supervisor settings. or just have a logout short code instead of button like *45. Either way if the extension is called it will go to that users vmail but the phone will not ring.

Hope this helped

Brian

Hi all, thanks for your replies...

Yes I was trying to find a way to log off agents using VMPro. The reason was that I wanted to do a set of actions before the log off.

E.g. I want them to be able to dial one short code and it changes their absent status, puts them on DND and then logs them off

I can do all the other actions but couldn't find a way to do the last bit. Thought it might be possible by transfering to a shortcode but it doesnt seem to work...

If you can think of another way of acheiving the same thing it would be appreciated!

Out of interest I have got it working on digital phones using abbreviated dial and putting the shortcodes in one after the other but can't find a way to do with analogue phones.

Thanks again,

Craig

You could set the "agent's status on no answer" if they are in a group.
