following a guide on the net i was able to create a cd which made it possable to boot Windows From a CD-ROM.
I created this disk mainly for the purpose of reviving dead systems. the only problem that i have is that when used on a pc other than the one the original cd was made from it tries to install new devices it finds.
scince the cd rom is not writable installing new devices is not posable.
Is there a command i can put into my autoexec.bat file that will load windows into a kind of safe mode?
I cannot simply press F8 at startup because it will bypass config.sys and autoexec.bat which i require to load bolth my CD-ROM drivers and a 4mb ramdisk.
any help would be appreciated.
