ask for specific assistance from Ot support.While I don't think that there will be issues the newer livelink does make use of clob as against longs in the old livelink so they will probably be faster.Some of the sql itself has been refined in newer versions so that is more the reason why you should consider upgrading

We hope to upgrade from 9.2 to 9.7 next year , but in the meantime , we had wanted to upgrade our Oracle Database , to take care of another application which has to run 10g.
But according to our LiveLink developers , Livelink 9.2 on 10g is not supported.
While we do not see why there should be issues , since firstly 10g maintains backward compatibility to 9i , we feel we should exploit all avenues , just in case.
You can do a database upgrade from 10g with livelink 9.2 it will work fine. We have successfully done the upgrade and things are working fine for the past 8 months.
