Hello guys, I am trying to set up some sort of coverage path for our main number which is pointed to a listed directory number which is ext 590 through 595. What I need to have done is if the receptionist does not answer after about 4 or 5 rings it needs to roll out to a remote coverage path I already have set up for some other extensions in our business. How do I set up a coverage path for ldn's if possible. We have a really old definity system I am not sure of the version if you could tell me how to find that out I could let you know. Thanks in advance.

I never tried this but if you look at the LDN you will see a tenant number. You may be able to assign a new tenant number for the LDN and set up a vdn to route the calls. Is your main number a DID? You could bypass the LDN and direct the calls directly to the receptionist that way you can set up a cover path.

Thanks. The number is not a DID unfortunately. As far as the vdn I cant find any commands in the help to set up a vdn. What needs to happen is after a certain amount of rings they need to be forwarded to an offsite call center that handles call overflow. I have pretty much every other DID in the place set up that way. Just not sure how to go about it with the receptionist. I have the nights set up to go offsite though.

What is your main number and how do you have it pointing to the LDN?

INCOMING CALL HANDLING TREATMENT
Service/ Called Called Del Insert Per Call Night
Feature Len Number CPN/BN Serv
other 3 102 3 590 321
other 3 051 3 546
other 3 352 3 352

So the main number is 102 which rings to ldn 590. And yes it is coming in on a T-1. I have the night service extension set up to go where I need it to after hours but need it to roll over the same way during the day also if they don't answer.
