I am working on a project linking two MICS systems and I could really use some guidence. Two MICS, one Callpilot and at p2p t1. We want to have central reception and voice mail. What challenges are there with doing this and do we need some sort of keycode for the MICS or Call Pilot to accomplish this.

I appreciate the help, I havn't been to Tek-Tips for a while so I very happy to see it working great.

Thanks in advance.

If you're MICS have three digit extensions, do yourself a favor and convert to four digit (or more) extensions on each before you start.

I made the mistake of networking two MICS that are three digit. It REALLY limits the expandability of the system. I've regretted not converting them to four digits ever since.

Thanks for the input. I do appreciate it. Currently the systems have three digit extensions and I believe are receiving three digits. I guess my next question would be what type of T1 should be used. RikRodgers expressed that a PRI key needs to be installed, does this also mean that a PRI T1 has to be in place other then a straight P2P T1?

Yes, along with an MCDN keycode to use Cenralized Vmail.
