When I set up a subform and link it to the parent, is the link field required to be present on the subform? For example, if I have an employee record, and a subform that lists each of their paycheck numbers and amounts, I always put the employee number somewhere on the subform, usually as a hidden field. I don't know if I'm doing this because I read somewhere that it's a good idea, or if it's just some habit I picked up.
