Howdy folks. I am not a NT/XP Pro person at all. I grew up with the "home" oriented Windows. Now that I am setting up a few machines for public access, I see that the security of these OSes is needed. So....
I am having some problems with XP Pro. I have three restricted accounts created. I need to limit their access to basically what is on the desktop, and allow them to logoff or shutdown. I need to restrict everything else in the start-button, and also restrict running the CTRL-Alt-Del console.
If this involves the Group-policy editor, I need some help from the ground-up.
A good tutorial or how-to would help.
I can supply any other needed info.
Thanks,
A
