Limit inbound call duration

Hallo All,

Anybody know of a way to limit the duration of an inbound ACD call (including wait time) to a specific amount of minutes?

I know of no clean way.

You might be able to achieve this using a "converse-on" step and the Vector Disconnect Timer value in 'cha sys feat'.

You could use a "converse-on" step to queue the call to the skill you want to limit the inbound duration for. The call will drop once the Vector Disconnect Timer expires. Set that value to the maximum length of the call you want to allow. Note however that the Vector Disconnect Timer is a system-wide parameter and so will affect all your calls that use vectoring.
 
Yeah - bummer.

It is strange there is no such feature - perhaps the only way forward is some custom CTI application.
