License lost Avaya IP Office 500 V2 3

Hey there everyone,



We have to replaced a faulty IP 500 v2. The guy who installed the IP 500 v2 has since left.

For the past two days, I search avaya folder for the license file backup but no avail.

Getting contact BP would probably solve it but it would take too long and costly.

Does anyone know how to recover their license from the dongle key number?

The dongle serial number is 1374193308

I would much appreciate it ...

Do you have a backup of the config?
The licenses are in there for sure if it is ADI, if it is PLDS you will need to download the xml from the website (PLDS)

Thanks for sharing the license keys, when i paste these licenses, it says the license is dormant. Can anyone help me with that?

If you are in basic mode that would make sense. The only licenses that would work in basic are the PRI everything else would only work in standard mode.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

The only time I've seen "Licenses dormant" is when the system has been updated from an older version (7.0 or 8.0) up to 9.1 version.
Has this system been updated recently? Otherwise what critchey said could be causing the problem.

Which licenses are 'Dormant'?

Its means they are conditional on some other license which is no longer present. If you've moved the SD card from another system, they may have been conditional on a virtual license granted by some item of hardware in that other system (eg. the virtual preferred edition license granted by the presence of a UCM V1) or by its upgrade history. The new system doesn't have the necessary prerequisite.

We would need to know more about the history of the SD card and the system's it has been in to give a possible answer.
