Just received a call from a client saying his system is showing license invalid. Since he doesn't have "Manager" installed, I know no one has been in system since I was on site more than 2 years ago.

Running IPO 500 V2 R8.1
1-SIP Endpoint
4-Extra VM Ports
2-IP Endpoints
1-Essential Edition
1-large upgrade (I added a 16 Expansion Module, about 8 months after start up).

All worked as of yesterday and today all show invalid.

System time and date are correct and "Manager" IP Address is pointed correctly.

I have checked posts from March/April 2009 and April 2011 without success.

Additionally, I went back and found the Avaya bulletin concerning expired licenses. But it doesn't pertain to me as that related to trial licenses that were once available.

ANY THOUGHTS?

Check the system ID/dongle number against an old config, also check the audit trail, they've probably been messing with it :)

Is the essential edition license a virtual version?
I've seen it disappear.
Just paste it back in from a previous saved.config. No saved config? Oh dear.
