Hello. I am just learning the Merlin Legend phone systems and need assistance with this particular problem. Forgive me if this is a dumb question with an obvious answer:
All users can make long-distance calls, but only the secretary (operator phone) can make certain local calls. She can reach one local number, but when she dials another number within that same exchange, she receives the message "your call cannot be completed as dialed". All other users receive the message "your call cannot be completed as dialed" no matter what local number they dial. They've tried 9, 1, areacode, number; 9, areacode, number; 9, number. The secretary makes local calls by dialing 9 + the 7-digit number.
The default local table definition is as follows:
Sub A Pool: 70
Sub A Digit(s): 91814
1+7-digit is set to "not within area code".
The LEC has checked all lines to this office and all are working. They don't have the equipment to monitor the incoming calls from these lines to see what is being passed.
Any information on what's causing this problem would be greatly appreciated!
Thank-you. ML22
