Hello we currently have a main number of xxx-xxx-5000 with 5000 being the LDN. Internally this number is pointing to our Reception console which is 3000.

I can't find where to change this 3000 to another number? Thanks in advance

Remove 3000 from the LDN entry, and rebuild it as a Phantom, DCFW'd to wherever you desire.

Find LDNs in:

LD 21
REQ PRT
TYPE LDN

Change in LD 15. Make sure you have "some" 4 digit number in the LDN0 spot. You need a number there - any number.

I don't see 3000 in any ldn directory. Even when I type in ld 21
prt
type ldn .. i get an error

When i do
ld 21
prt
type dnb 5000
i get dn 5000 type LDN.

How can I print ld 15 data to see what is currently there and where i need to change it?

u can ignore the above message: here is what i get when i print in ld 21. I don't want to change the 5000 but i can't seem to find any reference in the system where 5000 points to our reception console of 3000.

Can I just build a phantom TN of 5000 and forward it to any other number?

If you print a DNB on 3000 and get nothing, then nothing is 3000

I was getting 5000 and 3000 mixed up.

OK, it's not an LDN, it's the Attendant DN - Sorry for not thinking that.

LD 21
REQ PRT
TYPE ATT

You'll see 3000 in there

Change in LD 15

If you cannot see 5000 as either an LDN or a DNB, try LD 49.... PRT IDC.

It sounds like there is a conversion happening.

Note his LD22

DN 3000
TYPE ATT
TN 000 0 05 00 15 SEP 1995
(2250)

So it is the Attendant DN

nothing listed in print idc

this is what comes up when i print dnb 5000

DN 5000
TYPE LDN

5000 is an LDN and 3000 is the ATDN. It's all old news now :)

so I tried changing the ATDN to an existing DN and getting
SCH0730

our DN is a 1120 IP phone not an attendant analouge console if that makes a difference

i can change the ATDN to a non-existant dn . but when i call the main number xxx-xxx-5000 it still reaches the attendant console.

Do I need to change the LDN to a specific DN?

If you want 5000 to reach the new phone, change the LDN0 to any other four digit unused number, then create a phantom TN with 5000 DCFW'd to the DN of the new phone. Basically what you posted on May 28th.

If you want 3000 to reach the new phone, change the ATDN to any other four digit unused number, then create a phantom TN with 3000 DCFW'd to the DN of the new phone.
