I have a BCM50, Rls 2.0 with an expansion cabinet with a GATM8 in it. About every 3 months, I cannot access it remotely over the network. I move the patch cable to LAN port 3, and it works for a few months and then have to move it again. I have swapped ports on the switch, patch cables etc. The phones and trunks all stay up, it is just this that goes down.

Can you check the alarm logs for anything that may have happened recently?. I'm guessing that your release 2 system is patched up to the latest update?.
